MISSION POSSIBLE 2010 (JR. HIGH MISSION)
Mission Possible is a mission program targeted for Junior High youth that offers experiential growth in faith through service, fellowship and fun. By focusing on mission, participants will work side by side with partners in Christ’s service, and work to fulfill Christ’s great commission to make disciples.
We were blessed to Serve Habitat for Humanity (New Castle, PA), City Rescue Mission (New Castle, PA), Shenango on the Green retirement / nursing facility (New Wilmington, PA), World Vision (Sewickley, PA), North Hills Community Outreach (Pittsburgh, Pa), and Crestfield Camp & Conference center (Slippery Rock, PA).
By helping all of these organizations we were exposed to several different types of missions and got a glimpse of the need that that exists in our world. Whether we were talking and playing games with senior citizens or packing boxes with clothes destined for around the world, we were connected together by service in Christ’s name.
As you can see from the pictures, we had a wonderful week of service, fellowship, fun, and worship. Thank you to all who supported us!
WORK CAMP 2010 (SR. HIGH MISSION)
On June 13th, twenty-five high school students and 10 adults departed for Phillipi, WV for this year’s work camp. Their mission was to serve a community that has been affected by economic strife for generations. You can experience a little bit of work camp by watching the videos below.
